		A Webinar for Advisors: Thursday April 9, 2013: 11am PST/2pm EST Based on best practice guidelines and gold standard approaches, this webinar will answer questions and provide considerations to guide conversations between advisors and students.  Following the webinar, advisors will have a set of discussion questions to guide students in their consideration of international placements in health settings, as well as an understanding of ‘red flags’ to look out for when choosing programs that may necessitate further guidance.  Participants will walk away with valuable resources and new insight for students, themselves, and their institutions. This webinar is hosted by Child Family Health International (CFHI), an NGO in Special Consultative Status with the ECOSOC of the United Nations.  CFHI provides community-based Global Health Education Programs for health science students and institutions.  Their unique model fosters reciprocal partnerships andempowerment in local communities.
